{"id":897,"date":"2023-12-20T17:38:32","date_gmt":"2023-12-20T09:38:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.jesusclub.sg\/?p=897"},"modified":"2023-12-20T17:38:32","modified_gmt":"2023-12-20T09:38:32","slug":"christmas-at-jesus-club-dec-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jesusclub.sg\/?p=897","title":{"rendered":"Christmas at Jesus Club! | Dec 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-container-core-group-is-layout-1efbe432 wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p>As the song goes, it <em>is<\/em> the most wonderful time of the year!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Christmas always reminds us of why we do Jesus Club: because that first Christmas, the true light that gives light to everyone came into the world. Jesus shone the light of God\u2019s salvation into a world darkened by sin. He came to give us, sinners estranged from God, the greatest gift we could ever dare hope for \u2013 the right to become children of God. And that\u2019s why Jesus Club exists. To extend God\u2019s gracious invitation of sonship (and daughtership!) through faith in Jesus to persons with intellectual disabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We thank God for the opportunity to do just that this past month! All 3 clubs threw a Christmas party, and we thank God for bringing many guests to join us.
