JC@LKBC kicked off the month with a wonderful time celebrating the Lunar New Year together!
Staying true to the CNY tradition of family reunions and spirit of love, our club members, their families, and volunteers gathered for a special evening filled with joy, laughter and fellowship. It was a meaningful time reflecting on how God gives us new beginnings and walks with us into each new season, and also hearing from families about some of the challenges they face in the year ahead.
Of course, no celebration would be complete without food! We enjoyed a hotpot buffet at Goro Goro, and it was a great time of fellowship around the tables. It was encouraging to see friendships growing as members and volunteers connected with one another over a meal.
Most importantly, we were reminded that just as the new year represents a fresh start, we can be thankful for the new life and hope we have in Christ. Despite February being a busy month for most, we made the effort to “not neglect to meet together” and find a way to encourage one another (Hebrews 10:25). Everyone left with full tummies and full hearts.
